– MATCA and Copsamare Guesthouse (despite its rustic quirks) were standout accommodations.
– Moldova’s winery experience was a delightful surprise, with an over-the-top meal and a wonderful guide/driver team.

For Future Travelers: They’d love to spend more time in Moldova and add 1–2 nights in Hungary’s countryside next time.

Bucharest’s Corinthia Hotel stood out for its luxury, and the restaurant choices, like Casa di David and Kane, were chic and delicious, though the tasting menu at Kane ran long. The airport transfer experience, however, was disappointing due to unclear signage and rude drivers, so I’d recommend switching providers and ensuring drivers are easily visible with printed name signs.

Transylvania offered unforgettable moments, particularly the visits with local specialists like the beekeeper and egg painter, and Echeme’s home was a universal highlight. While Matca exceeded expectations as a world-class hotel, Viscri 125 received mixed reviews due to housekeeping issues and lower luxury standards. The itinerary’s pacing—long drives and extended meals—sometimes limited touring time, especially in Sighisoara. Guests loved Brasov and suggested staying there longer, possibly visiting Viscri as a day trip. They also preferred ending the trip in Bucharest to ease travel logistics and allow time for museum visits. Overall, the trip was magical, with standout experiences like the privatized Bran Castle tour and the stunning Matca estate. Thank you for an incredible journey!
